About Us

Our story is built on passion for music, friendship, and the desire to share our experiences through every song we create.

Get Loose are an original blues-rock band from Oxfordshire, delivering blistering, riff-driven, high-energy music that’s been thrilling crowds all over the UK. Led by guitarist and vocalist Lee Castle, the band also features the unique harmonica sound of Paul ‘Plonker’ Ashby, the rich Hammond tones of Neil Lewis, the driving rhythms of Phil Aris on drums, and the solid groove of Adam Carter on bass. Together, they create a sound that is raw, powerful, and unforgettable.

Get Loose Band

Known for their explosive live performances, Get Loose have built a reputation as a must-see act with both exceptional musicianship and a natural rapport with audiences. Promoter Penny Lee summed it up best: “Get Loose blew the roof off the Tuesday Blues – 100 Club London. WHAT a fantastic performance, it really was off the scale!”

Their latest album, Let It Rise, has been widely praised by critics. Blues Matters called it “a melting pot of great lyrics and a swagger that will have you playing it over and over. Bravo guys!” The record showcases the band’s mix of gritty blues, soaring rock energy, and songs that carry both punch and heart.

They’ve shared the stage with Hamilton Loomis, Focus, Brave Rival, The Bonnevilles, and many more, experiences that have been as exciting for the band as for the crowds. Wherever they play, one thing always stays the same: Get Loose are on a mission to thrill, entertain, and make every show an experience to remember.

Weight of the Last Time is about the triumph of emerging from difficult times with optimism about the future. Written from personal experience it speaks more broadly to anyone struggling against adversity. It's reflective but builds to a thumping uplifting close.
