Get Loose are an original blues-rock band from Oxfordshire, known for blistering riffs, high-energy shows, and a sound that blends grit, groove, and heart. Led by guitarist and vocalist Lee Castle, alongside Paul ‘Plonker’ Ashby (harmonica), Neil Lewis (keys), Phil Aris (drums), and Adam Carter (bass), the band has built a reputation for powerful live performances and unforgettable audience connection.

Get Loose bring raw blues-rock energy to every stage, turning their mix of fiery riffs and soulful melodies into a live experience that never fails to grab attention. Formed in Oxfordshire, the band is fronted by Lee Castle on guitar and vocals, with Plonker’s harmonica adding a unique edge, Neil Lewis driving the sound with Hammond organ, Phil Aris on drums laying down solid grooves, and Adam Carter holding the rhythm on bass.
The band’s reputation as a must-see live act is built on both musicianship and natural chemistry with the crowd. As promoter Penny Lee put it after their 100 Club performance: “Get Loose blew the roof off… WHAT a fantastic performance, it really was off the scale!”
Their latest album, Let It Rise (2023), recorded at Woodworm Studios with producer Steve “Geezer” Watkins, showcases 12 original songs that fuse blues, rock, and personal storytelling. Praised by critics including Blues Matters and Blues in Britain, the record highlights the band’s ability to combine raw power with meaningful songwriting.
Over the years, Get Loose have shared stages with artists like Hamilton Loomis, Focus, Brave Rival, and The Bonnevilles, and continue to grow their following across the UK. At the heart of it all is their mission to thrill, entertain, and create music that connects on a real level with audiences wherever they play.
